Team Turf Fertilizer Programs

We offer programs for both Cool Season and Warm Season Turf using “Fortified Organic Fertilizers” as the core of our program.

We offer both a Standard Organic program, consisting of seven applications per year, and our premium Organic program consisting of up to ten applications per year depending if your turf is Cool or Warm Season.

We also tailor programs to your lawn’s specific needs and your budget.

To start your fortified organic program it is recommended to apply Urban Soil Life and Urban Bio Boost, to jump start your lawn with organic material, beneficial bacteria and beneficial fungi. This is a one time application for the season.

We then proceed with one of our application plans depending on your needs and budget.

All our applications include organic food sources, beneficial bacteria, and fungi for disease suppression, and additionally, other nutrients appropriate for the time of the application.

Our Standard plan consists of applications about every 45 days, resulting in seven applications per year.

Cool Season Standard Program

  • Early February Round 1Pre Emergent crabgrass & Weed control

  • April Round 2 Pre Emergent and broadleaf spray

  • June/July Summer Relief plus Iron + Fungicide Prevention

  • August Bio Balance

  • September Germinate high Nitrogen Organic Application

  • October Top Growth high Nitrogen Organic Application

  • Winter hibernate

Our Premium plan consists of applications about every 35 to 42 days, resulting in 10 applications per year.

COOL SEASON
Premium Program

  • Early February Round 1 Pre Emergent crabgrass and weed control.

  • Mid March Fortified Organic Fertilizer Application

  • Late April Round 2 Organic Pre Emergent

  • Late May Fungicide Preventive

  • June/July Organic Summer Care

  • August Bio Balance pH Calcium Rich formula

  • Late August; Begin Spraying in preparation for overseeding.

  • September Germinate We begin our aeravation and overseeding

  • Mid October Top Growth Continue aeravation and overseeding

  • November round 3 Pre Emergent for control of winter weeds.

  • December Winter care for winter stress resistance
